Sharing Story & Tips BBW (Big Bad Wolf) 2017

*I know it's already late to post this review ~ i just receive Phd in procastination field #ups sorry ~ please bare with me. I try to cover everything about this BBW event based on my experience and the reality on place*

I thought i got lucky this year by getting the VIP ticket as a blogger, i was quite surprised too as i was received the VIP invitation 2 days before the event. In those 2 days, i really can't wait for 20 April 2017 to come. When the day finally come, i was so excited to go to BBW as VIP. Unfortunately i can't come early in the morning because i got things to do and lessons to catch up, so i went in the afternoon, and finally reached ICE BSD around 05.30 pm.
I was quite struggle to reach this venue as the weather was cloudy after raining, the strong wind in there makes my umbrella broken in place. I was bit shocked, scared and sad to see my umbrella broken because of the wind. My sudden thought was 'Is it a sign of bad luck? Will today be alright' while praying and hoping everything will be alright.

When entering the ICE hall, as a person living in the tropical hot of Jakarta i feel instantly cold, i think most people feel the same, except you are usually live abroad in the 4 season country. I also realize the similar feeling of ice and why it's called ICE ~ hahaha
Though, the coldness only in front hall, after entering the BBW hall the temperature will less cold and normal. But, If you don't like cold, it is better to wear sweater or jacket when entering this hall.

I began to take the trolley and stroll around, i was going to the novel section first then going to design section. After spending around 2 hours choosing some books on my trolley, i went to the food court area to fill my hunger, unfortunately few food truck is closed and most of the food already sold out. I decided to buy chicken kebab and chocolate almond toast, then headed back to take my trolley. I saw the time it was already 07.30 pm, without overdue i started to queue for cashier, my heart dropped to see the LONGEST QUEUE IN MY LIFE. I was bit hesitant to queue actually, but i thought it would be a waste to go home empty handed since  i already spent time choosing the books and i don't know when i can go to here again. So after long time queuing, i got home at 01.30 am, it's insane

Turns out, not only me experienced so, but all vips who came, have bad experience in the preview sale, it's like we become a 'guinea pig' because on next day, when bbw open to the public, my friends and a lot people say they have good experience, there's no long queue in the cashier and it's less crowded. I've got quite annoyed knowing this. So, After queieng for 4 hours to the cashier, i'm kinda trauma of it and come up with some tips to queue :
  1. Don't just stand or sit blankly and do nothing, you will got bored easily and getting impatient, instead do something else. If you have phone in your hand you can play games, chat your friends, read articles, drawing, etc. In BBW, you can read books while waiting for the long queue.
  2. Read the tips from the BBW : Wear comfortable clothes and shoes as the place is sooo big you're really going to be tired, bring water bottles and little bit snack, bring comfortable bag, more cash and your mandiri cards, etc
  3. If you're going to buy a lot of books by yourself, don't hesitate to bring suitcase, you get me trolley suitcase, because the books are heavy esp if you're not heavy tolerant. It will make you a lot easier to carry your books around to home.
I was waiting for the long queue while eating my kebab, chatting with my friends, and looking around to see other books. I find many good books around the long queue, i even put few books more to my trolley hehehe an aunty behind me even go further to look for the books, some teenagers behind them even got pissed off to push her trolley forward because she is gone for too long.

Luckily, i can go to here for the second day, it was on wednesday 26 April. I heard from my friends and read other's people reviews that it already a lot better than the preview sale, there's no long queue anymore and there are some new books in there too, so i got quite excited to come.  I bought a lot more books than the first time got here, my hands were full and heavy of books. I also sell "jasa titip buku" to some of my friends. Instead only looking for my own books, It feels good to help my friends looking out their books while i also can earn a little bit of money.

Bazaar Art Jakarta 2016 (Review)

Hi, how's your day?
it's been quite overwhelm for me, i've got lot of things to do beside my job,
but nothing is really done =_=  I hope you are good and not doing the same like me 😂

Sooo, today i will be reviewing Bazaar Art in Jakarta that was occurred from 25-28 August 2016.This bazaar was founded by Harper's Bazaar Indonesia, and has been held annually since 2009.
I was happy to know that finally this official art event existed in Jakarta, although someone told me that it has existed before, but really i've never known it before.
As someone who never been to art bazaar in my local town before, I was pretty excited to come and see the art and paintings, what would it be in there and so on. It is located in Ritz Carlton, Pacific Place Ballroom, 4th floor, so you can enter the Pacific Place Mall to get into this ballroom, without coming to the hotel. It's for free (luckily!) you can bring anyone to here, and if you fortunate you may meet your favorite celebrity or famous people or the artists. No registration needed, but you can do if you want to get the catalog book and other information of the art bazaar.

When i first came in, i saw this helmet that drawn me in, the design was giving that artistic, colorful, cool and funny with the little umbrella on top. Can you imagine someone wearing this helmet riding a motorbike ? XD~

There are also many foreign or international artist showcase their art & craft in, like this little baby craft art by Moe Nakamura that captivated me. It vibes a well master craft, cuteness, innocent and uniqueness that i really love and always awe looking at these

Moreover, i also adore the local artist art like this fantasy painting, it's just so beautiful with a quirkiness, a bit weird but uniqueness and feel some similarity to our life ♡

When i am seeing this art, i'm kinda playing to guess the price of the painting, after guessing (just for fun) we were surprised with the differences of our guessing and the real price HAHA! The real price much higher than our guess prices.

Hi Guys... Tease Me Please by Iroel
It's an interesting artwork between Pinocchio and Wayang Kulit (I forget what it's called) Indonesia, you can see this painting is telling a story, a love story of Pinocchio with a traditional girl, Pinocchio looks in love and happy waving to the girl as his nose also longer than usual HAHA! While the Wayang girl looks shy and polite greeting Pinocchio. Moreover, there is also another Wayang behind the girl shooting an arrow of love, the title is also a bit teasing with tease me please
